Ryvid launches limited-edition “anthem” e-bike
Leveraging its experience in the aerospace field, the Californian company Ryvid has developed “Anthem”, a new version of EV mobility that combines innovative engineering with sleek, forward-looking design. Dubbed the “first customizable motorcycle of its kind”, the Anthem features a height-adjustable Ergo-Easy seat, an ultra-lightweight stainless steel frame and a removable 4.3 kWh battery. Ergo-Easy adjustable seat and ultra-light chassis
One of Anthem’s standout features is its adjustable seat, ranging from 30 to 34 inches. “This proprietary technology brings confidence-inspiring reach to smaller riders and comfort to taller riders.” shares Ryvid. Moreover, the California-based company uses a custom stainless steel frame that can weigh as little as 12 pounds, making the overall mass more comparable to an e-bike than an e-motorcycle. The result is a vehicle that’s agile, easy to handle and incredibly responsive since that weight is distributed closer to the ground.
A variable-ratio final drive lets drivers choose between quicker city acceleration or high-speed ride comfort. while placing the engine at the rear of the vehicle simplifies the design and reduces parts. The 4.9-inch TFT display panel, created for maximum clarity and efficiency, allows you to quickly see important data such as speed and charge level.
transform the way the world rolls
Anthem is powered by a 72-volt air-cooled brushless DC motor powered by a 4.3kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be quickly swapped out for instant top-ups or brought inside for ultimate charging flexibility. 250 lb-ft, or 338 Nm, is the claimed maximum wheel torque, while charging time is said to be three hours on 220V and six hours on 110V. The range is said to be over 75 miles, or around 50 miles in Sport mode. Top speed is over 75 mph.
According to Ryvid, the unique sensation of driving the Anthem comes from the instantaneous thrust of the electric motor and a variable-ratio final drive that turns electrons into speed with whiplash-like ease. ‘The bike turns intuitively and cleanly, thanks to a low center of gravity, leaning over with confidence-inspiring grip. Best of all, the Anthem’s athleticism is powerful yet understated. Thanks to its quiet operation, all you hear is the hum of the belt drive and the beating of your heart. share the company. “A premium product at an accessible price, our launch bike paves the way for a lineup that will transform the way the world rides.”
