When David Kronfeld came to America from Israel, he wanted to get his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and his master’s degree in computer science. After graduation, he could understand English, but could barely speak it. When he went to work at EDS, the company once owned by Ross Perot, Kronfeld said he made mistakes. To be successful, he really had to observe everything around him, especially what worked for him and for others, in a corporate environment.

“That kind of observation allowed me to become a lot more insightful than the average person, because I really had to analyze all the nuances, behind every little thing,” Kronfeld said.

“Insight” is one of the key premises of the Chicago Wall Street Journal’s best-seller book, “Remarkable-Proven Insights To Accelerate Your Career.” Kronfeld is the President of JK&B Capital. The Venture Capital Group has raised over $ 1 billion and invested in hundreds of companies. Kronfeld explains “Insight” as the tip that helps you become the best player and succeed against your peers.

“For me, insight refers to this street intelligence. These are things that are not that obvious, but which play a vital role when things are going well, ”he said.

Kronfeld says he learned the different levels of insight while working as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He says insight involves everything from the dos and don’ts in a work environment, to the techniques, which help you excel.

“This is the best tool you will have to accelerate this success. This increases the likelihood of success. It increases the likelihood of one doing better, it increases the likelihood of one becoming the top performer and because of that, their careers are likely to go faster and much further. “

Kronfeld shares many personal stories in his book. It started as a family memory, to share his business experience with his grandson’s Colton and Aaron. When his daughter Beth read what he had written, she knew his advice was something to be shared with the world.

“We decided this was a good opportunity to give back and bring this kind of insight to a much larger audience,” Kronfeld said.
