Video shows bus drifting towards parked Bell ambulance

The Milwaukee County Transit System has released new video of when a county bus slammed into a parked ambulance on Dec. 7. The impact caused the ambulance to overturn near North 54th Street and West Villard Avenue. who was parked and whose headlights were on. Both paramedics were sent to hospital at the time, but have since been released. Milwaukee police said the bus driver, who had non-life-threatening injuries, was the only person aboard the county bus. In a statement on Friday, MCTS said: “On December 7, 2021, an MCTS bus struck an ambulance with staff and a patient on board. No passengers were on the bus. Since the incident, the driver has been assigned administrative duties. We have no evidence that our driver was impaired in any way. We are committed to the highest standards of safety and driver training. We regret that this accident occurred product and hope those who were injured make a full recovery.

Two paramedics and a patient were in the ambulance, which was parked with the lights on.
